Willow

It is with heavy hearts that we share that Willow, our Welsh pony of twenty years, died peacefully in her field on 2 October at the age of twenty-four. She taught a whole family to ride and looked after every one of them. Thank you to everyone at the yard who loved her.

Retirement in the field

In her last few years she did nothing but graze and doze in the sun with Bracken, and she had earned every minute of it. We would go and sit with her, and she would rest her chin on our shoulder. She knew she was safe. That is all you can hope to give them.
